Service Description

Duration: 60 minutes $175 (price includes travel and notarizing up to two signers.) Travel Fee Disclosure: A minimum Travel fee of $45 (varies upon location) is included in the price of each individual appointment however if the appointment cannot be completed for ANY reason, the notarization fee will not be charged but the travel fee will still be due. A Living Trust is a form of estate planning that allows you to control your assets (your money and property) while you are still alive, but have it distributed to people or organizations you select when you die. A witness is not normally required unless otherwise instructed by your agent. A Living Will, also known as an Advance Healthcare Directive, is a legal document in which a person specifies what actions should be taken for their health if they are no longer able to make decisions for themselves because of illness or incapacity. Two witnesses are required whom are not any employer, healthcare official providing you care, an heir, a beneficiary or otherwise legally related to you such as a spouse, adopted child or family member. A Self-Proving Affidavit is recommended but not legally required in California. Estate planning is the process of anticipating and arranging, during a person's life, for the management and disposal of that person's estate during the person's life, in the event the person becomes incapacitated and after death. IMPORTANT: Please ensure all documents needing to be notarized are filled out in its entirety and that there are no lines left blank, with the exception of the signature line. Each signer must have a valid unexpired form of ID present at the appointment or it will be canceled and a travel fee will be due, printed copies or pictures will not be accepted. If the signer(s) do not have a valid form of ID then they may provide two credible witnesses (whom must have a valid form of ID) known personally by them to verify their identity at the appointment.
